The mango is a big tree with smooth dark brown to black bark and can reach 30 to 40 metres high. Originally from South Asia and very present in tropical countries, it is grown for its fruit but its wood is used for furniture and crafts.
After being turned and carved, the objects are placed in an oven about a week to be dehydrated and then the yare protected with layers of lacquer. All our products are handmade with the utmost care.
